Sow a Holy Seed

This dream began in a quiet and sacred way—through loss, healing, and the surprising joy of pickleball.

After decades of working as a professional counselor, spiritual director, and marriage & family therapist, I began noticing something unexpected on the pickleball court: people were being emotionally triggered in ways that reached far beyond the game. I saw fear, frustration, perfectionism, shame, and self-doubt rise to the surface—not because of missed shots, but because of old wounds. That’s when the vision took root.

What if there were a peaceful space where people could come—play, laugh, breathe, and heal?
What if pickleball became a doorway, not just to better performance, but to spiritual restoration and deeper connection with God?

I call this vision the Holy Seed.

It’s not about building something grand or flashy. I dream of a small retreat space with a couple of pickleball courts, a few guest cabins, and sacred room for people to do deep mindset work, spiritual exploration, and inner healing. A place where fun and faith meet. A place where people encounter God in the most unexpected ways—through movement, reflection, and stillness.
